The AUX input is designed to accept a line-level signal which has a source impedance of ~600 ohms. This is the signal level one would receive from a CD player, DVD player, a radio tuner, or a turntable preamp output. You can feed a headphone level signal into AUX input on a powered speaker; it will work. but it will be a bit ‘hot’.

The THX spatial sound doesn't mess with the eq compared to stereo mode anymore in the latest update, which makes it sound amazing 😍 Good job Razer! (Before it made the mids all weird and muffled and it felt like I was using cheap chinese speakers tbh.. well no more 😍)

The problem is, that the Kraken 7.1 has it's own soundcard. So it needs the usb-connection to your computer to power itself. The 3.5 jack only delivers enough power to run a headphones driver. You would need an active converter that has a power source which can provide the required power.
If you wish to balance or otherwise prioritize the game audio over your chat application, simply ensure that the Razer Nari or Razer Nari Ultimate is set as the default playback device. This means that Nari – Game should be set as the “Default Device” and Nari – Chat as the “Default Communications Device” in your Sounds setting.
That is why sometimes if Windows get its own update, there might some incompatibility to Razer Synapse. Thus, 7.1 surround device will malfunction. Because of this, reinstallation of Razer Synapse/ uninstall headphone device required. If you still found this unresolved, please contact Razer Support. GLHF~
Before I get it started, please mind that I’m talking about true 7.1 surround headphone, which is physically built in their own 7.1 surround system but not virtual 7.1 surround supported by Razer Surround/ Razer Surround Pro. So never do any configuration or troubleshooting via that software.
