Dec 10, 2019 . The best but expensive, solution is to fit a cold start kit. This provides a powerful, transistorised spark to set of plugs when the starter is being cranked over. The magneto only provides this enhanced spark when power is applied to the starter motor. Once power is removed from the starter the system reverts to the standard Jabiru magneto.
