While in the country, you do not even need to ask for Jägermeister. All you need is ask out for the fruit-flavored spirit, which can never be confused with any other drink. Another proof of its origin is how Germans, love the drink. They always regard it as theirs with an estimation of 104 liters per person being taken every year.
In the 1980s liquor importer Sidney Frank imported Jägermeister and marketed it towards young people and college students, portraying the drink as an exciting European party drink.
The surfer on acid is a longtime favorite and one of the best ways to enjoy Jägermeister. The taste is tropical and invigorating, and the recipe is extremely easy, requiring just three ingredients: Jägermeister, coconut rum, and pineapple juice.
Jagermeister Prices. Jagermeister is the mysterious and often misunderstood German alcoholic herbal liqueur. It is made with 56 herbs and spices and is 35% alcohol by volume.
“Jägermeister is a very versatile liquid to work within the realm of cocktails,” he says. “It truly runs the gamut very well and tastes harmonious.” He’s particularly fond of playing off its ginger, citrus and bitter elements in drinks such as a Berlin Mule (yes, that’s a Moscow Mule with Jäger) and a riff on an Old Fashioned.
She likes to use Jäger as a bittering agent for stirred drinks such as a Negroni and to mix up twists on the Mai Tai and other tropical and summery cocktails. Her crushable Waterfront Cooler is a mashup of a Pimm’s Cup and an Arnold Palmer, with Earl Grey tea, muddled fruit and mint, and ginger beer, garnished with fruit and more mint.
Without negating its reputation as a shot brand, Willy Shine, the “brandmeister” for Mast-Jägermeister U.S., likes to point out that the product is basically a German amaro with a ton of heritage behind it. “Jägermeister is a very versatile liquid to work within the realm of cocktails,” he says.
