Feb 01, 2017 . 1. You have to have good headphones. Cheap out here and you won't be happy. 2. Turn the headphone volume up to 2 or 3 o'clock first and then set your mix using the channel knobs. If you do it the other way around the sound suffers. 3. Use the pan knob for guitars. It really cleans up the mix.
