Jun 07, 2019 . The Jandy RS's board has a fuse on it that will blow if the power cable that runs to the valve actuator(s) gets shorted for any reason. This includes a valve actuator that shorts out internally (quits working). Or if you didn't power down the RS before you cut the valve actuator wire, then that could be what happened to you.

Easy check is to be next to the equip when spa mode is selected and two valves should move and align properly, the return side valve is most likely not moving or it is not moving into the correct position. The fix is either adjusting the valve acuator or buying a new valve acuator.

The AquaLink® RS can turn your pool/spa equipment on and off in two ways: First, you can press the button of the equipment you want to turn on to activate the equipment. When the LED above a button is illuminated, it means that equipment is on (with the exception of the heater buttons; see Section 3.4 for more details).
