(1) No main subcontracting entrepreneur shall, in cases where it concludes a manufacturing or other contract with a subcontractor, effect any one the acts listed in the following items (excluding item (i) and (iv) in cases where it concludes a service contract):
(iv) Causing a subcontractor to change the content of the work, or to re-work after the receipt of the work (after provision of service by the subcontractor in the case of service contract), without reasons attributable to the subcontractor.
(ii) An individual or any entrepreneur of juridical person with capital or totalcontributions of not more than 10 million yen that receives a manufacturing orother contract from a main subcontracting entrepreneur provided for in item (ii)of the preceding paragraph.
The purchase order of the service is used as an anchor for the subcontracted operations. The subcontracted work can be managed through the Subcontracted work list page in Production control. The subcontracted work is used to ship raw material and, eventually, a semi-finished product to the vendor in preparation for the operation.

(1) The date of payment of subcontract proceeds shall be fixed within sixty days, and moreover within as short a period as possible, from the day on which a main subcontracting entrepreneur receives the work from a subcontractor (the day on which a subcontractor provides the service entrusted in the event of service contract.
Further, under the Commercial Code of Japan, when one party receives an offer to contract in relation to its business from another party, with which the party has regular dealings, the party must issue a notice of its acceptance or refusal of the offer to contract without delay.
