JASO small engine specifications are broadly recognized and have been adopted globally by the industry as key performance standards for both 2-stroke and 4 stroke applications. The JASO standards are used by oil marketers and many OEMs globally as an indication of the baseline performance upon which their performance requirements are built.
Japanese standard for special oil which can be used in 4-stroke motorcycle engine with one oil system for engine, gearbox and wet clutch system. Fluid is non-friction modified. MB grade oils are classified as the lowest friction oils among motorcycle four-cycle oils. Not to be used where a JASO MA grade oil is required.
