Nov 02, 2010 . However do not go around buying quality speakers and using your headunit to power them. Buying some pioneer or kenwood 2 way or 3 way speakers will do you fine. Depending on your size, they go for about $40-70 for a pair. Don't need to change your rears if you don't have want to, i mean, you're sitting up front right? :P

Mar 28, 2019 . This speaker is a very articulate speaker with lots of nice tones within it. The Creamback is a much better choice than the Greenback in a Blues Junior. The Creamback has a clearer sound but it also sounds fuller on the low end which is what you want with a Blues Junior.

If you use much more power, you are likely to damage the speaker by forcing the speaker cone to its limits. If you use much less power, youll probably turn up the amp until it clips, trying to make the speaker loud enough. Clipping can damage speakers due to overheating. So stay with 1.6 to 2.5 times the speaker's continuous power rating.

With Jazz, 8-10” speakers are the most popular, but that’s partially because Jazz amps tend to be smaller than amps for rock and other styles. Most Jazz players aren’t especially particular about the size of the speaker in their amp, provided it delivers the tone they’re looking for.
Personally, it has been my experience that loudspeakers equipped with dual midrange drivers reproduce Jazz music best. If you got the coin, check out the Avalon's. Your right as usual Mark, the Avalons do Jazz well. ( willianfrost ) No need for help here, feeding my audio hobby is one of the few things I really enjoy anymore.
The JazzAmp Ten also features onboard reverb, an effects loop, balanced line out, speaker out, and a headphone jack. The cabinet is closed which helps improve the overall responsiveness of the amp, especially in the lower range. As for the tone, this amp delivers an incredibly pure tone that truly feels like an extension of the guitar itself.
From the preamp, the signal then runs into the power amp section, where the sound is amplified and then sent through the speaker, where it finally becomes audible. Just like other amps, a Jazz amp can be powered either with vacuum tubes, or solid-state circuitry.
