Nov 30, 2015 . Before you replace the speaker, just try setting bass and treble on 0 and voice on 4 or 15. Guitar volume near all the way up, and guitar tone rolled off to taste. Aug 30, 2013 . I've also been on a speaker bender since joining this forum. So have exp on a few speakers that would give a good Jazz tone. IMHO a celestion greenback is a fantastic Jazz speaker, I get that woody Jazz tone for days with any archtop into a cheap vox ac15 with the standard issue greenback. They can be had cheap too.

Personally, it has been my experience that loudspeakers equipped with dual midrange drivers reproduce Jazz music best. If you got the coin, check out the Avalon's. Your right as usual Mark, the Avalons do Jazz well. ( willianfrost ) No need for help here, feeding my audio hobby is one of the few things I really enjoy anymore.
Still have them , haven't heard anything to surpass them with Jazz yet . Tim I usually don't think of speakers as being better on one type than another since the speaker should sound good on ALL types of music.
The JazzAmp Ten also features onboard reverb, an effects loop, balanced line out, speaker out, and a headphone jack.
