Jun 08, 2017 . Two guitarists have said how much they love sitting next to the amp and hearing the bass coming through it (one is a JazzAmp user and the other is a Quilter user). The weight and size are just awesome and I love all the function built into the preamp. It's definitely my goto now for most of my around-town gigging.

However, the most important aspect is the sound – the classic, warm, and pure tone of the JazzAmp is beautifully retained. I actually think the Bud is a little more versatile as it works exceptionally well for steel and nylon string acoustic guitars in addition to archtops.
