Apr 15, 2014 . I did find a thread somewhere where Fish_Street implied a 6 month warranty of their own but nothing from Jebao. My Evolutions 1400's had over 2.5 Million starts and stops on a RKL switching every 30 seconds so I would hope Jebao steps up to the plate on the WP's or may have to go back to Hydor which has excellent customer service. Jebao has a warranty but is not able to be contacted. The seller wasn't much help as their policy only allows 6 months. I'm hoping it's just this model because I didn't have $400 to replace with other brand at this time. Jan 07, 2017 . Just order the Jebao PP4 for my little tank at the office that is supposed to arrive tomorrow. I was really considering the MP10, but that was $235 and the Jebao was $42. I wouldn't worry about Jebao's warranty. Amazon lets you add a warranty to your purchase, so for an extra $3 I have a two year warranty.

Jun 15, 2015 . Don't know anything about the Jebao warranty but it seems their previous generation pumps (WP-x) had pretty significant durability issues. Seems the RW-x generation doesn't have as many complaints though... Depending on where you get it you might not have a warranty on the Jebao. Also I don't think there are many, If any, spare parts for the Jebao.

Jan 15, 2022 . There is no metal components under water for Jebao return pumps. As long as you don’t buy a grey market Jebao that without a warranty, you should be ok. Many people buy Jebao on eBay to save a few $ and those are not build the same. Also there are fake Jebao pumps out there.

So Jebao pumps are less expensive than other pumps, but boy do they have reliability issues. Someone suggested just getting two of them to help cover the expected outages.
I bought the Jebao 75watt clarifier and set up with a relatively slow 120 gals/hr pump. My pond is about 7000 gal. I have a good sponge filter on it as well. In two days my pond was crystal clear...amazing. But I've run it for 2.5 years now and it started getting green again.
Therefore, compared to lower-priced models from Jebao and other brands, this has a slightly higher power usage of 60 Watts. It still doesn’t sound a lot but is enough for a medium to a small sized pond and a wide variety of different water features.
