Users are educational (university to kindergarten), churches and corporate. The original company, JED Microprocessors Pty Ltd began in 1977 and was incorporated in August 1981. It was run until recently by the original owners and directors, Ed and Junette Schoell (now retired).

JED-2300 Analysis Station Plus The JED-2300 Analysis Station Plus is equipped with JEOL’s DrySD™ (Dry Silicon Drift Detector), a high-speed analyzer, and analytical software specially designed for JEOL electron microscopes.
JED Micro - Embedded Computers and A/V controllers. One half of JED Micro's business is Audio/Visual Control Systems for serial RS232 or IR remote control of video projectors, and LCD or Plasma flat panels, along with audio levels, screens and lighting .

JED makes communications and interface devices, e.g. opto-isolated RS232 to RS485, 20mA loop and Midi devices, RS232 to relays, FETS and IR, contact closure and opto input to RS232.
