Putting this here for posterity if it helps someone in the future. The Jehnert literature notes a maximum mid bass depth of 65mm. This is a so-so number; there are a fair number of aftermarket mid basses that meet this depth requirement, but not a huuuuge amount.

Oct 13, 2019 . It sounds like it is not, since the pictures posted show 7.5ohms and the speakers are listed as being 6ohms in specs. I've had some speakers where the DMM reading matched the impedance spec and others that I wasn't sure (stock speakers with no impedance specs listed anywhere). ... Oct 16, 2014 . Believe in the threads you read from e90post. In fact, go there and just do a search for the Jehnert XE200. The 8" midbass woofers will most likely surprise you. I myself went another route, because I didn't want a typical "sub"woofer. I'm using 8 of the Jehnert 6.5" speakers as a mid to sub bass system. They run from approx 300hz all the way down.

Remember if you get the Jehnert loaded setup, your amp should be 2-ohm stable, as they parallel the twin door woofers (4 ohm each, 2 ohm load to the amp). This kit likes power, so if you were going to run an amp bridged, that could be a problem... many amps on the market today are not 2-ohm rated in bridged mode.
