May 29, 2009 . I am peck drilling with a zero return to clear the chips. Drills were a size .020" and .024. 6500 rpm, Feed 1.3" , depth per peck .007", pecking aprox .240" deep My teacher recomended im probably wearing out the drill, and shouls try slower feed and longer peck? if i could get 2 parts per drill id be golden. I broke all the drills i had.
