It's quite easy to calculate which Jet Thruster you need: Simply by measuring the boat length and boat height, our formula can give you an accurate estimate of the required thrust. With 4 Thrust forces available, and many optional configurations, our systems are suitable for pleasure yachts in the 25-60 ft. range.

Thrusters have an ideal blend of stability, speed, and control making them an ideal fin set up for any board in any conditions. Quad vs Thruster Like its name suggests, a quad setup has four fins. The quad fin setup is a development of the original twin fin design which was incredibly fast and loose through turns.

The waterJet utilises a highly developed water pump to generate a high velocity Jet of water which, when expelled out the stern of a vessel, generates a thrust force in the opposite direction to push the vessel forward. The waterJet mounts inboard at the stern, drawing water through an intake fixed to the hull bottom.

The Jet Thruster is a unique system that uses water pressure to easily manoeuvre pleasure boats from 25-60 ft. Since 2010 It finds its way from Dordrecht, The Netherlands, to customers all over the world. The current Jet Thruster has a comparatively short history, contrary to Henry Kroeze’s, who has over forty years’ experience in ...

The nozzle has two grooves on the body. These grooves connect to embossed sliders that are engineered inside of the guide ring and spacers. This means that the nozzle will stay much easier in place when tighten the nut. On top of this we have different thickness of the guide rings. This enables every nozzle to be compatible with any hull thickness.

JT-70 & JT90. Jet Thruster is all about quality, reliability and durability. This is the main reason we have investing heavily in composite thru-hull parts. The thru-hull fittings we have engineered are made out of the best composite material available on the market (PA66+33%GF+UV). This is a Dupont nylon material as base, combined with glass fiber to give it the high strength we are …

Locate dealer Description The operation of the Jet Thruster is based on the sucking in of outside water. It is subsequently expelled through nozzles in the bow side. To this end the Jet Thruster has been fitted with a powerful centrifugal pump, a three-way valve and electrical controls.

The pump-Jet is a steerable pump-based thruster suitable for shallow water and non-standard applications, which can be used both as a maneuvering aid and as the main thruster. It provides 360 degrees of continuous steering, a compact design, installation flush with the hull, and virtually no risk of damage from grounding or floating debris.

Jan 08, 2017 . How It Works; The Jet Thruster pulls water from the sea and then an electrically driven pump drives water to Jet nozzles mounted just below the waterline in the bow and/or stern. The smaller Jet thruster pushes 66lbs of water thrust, while the larger unit pushes 198lbs. Holland Marine Parts introduces the Jet thruster system to the US.

The inlet is a 3 1/2 inch hole. This Jet Thruster System has been developed over many years and now is available in the US. Instead of a tunnel and propeller the Jet Thruster uses water pressure. The Jet thruster system does not need large holes cut into the boat, but relies on small Jet nozzles mounted in the hull.

The vessel’s propulsion thrust derived from the change in momentum taking place when water enters and leaves the Jet thruster system [ 34 ]. Therefore, the thrust produced by the pump-Jet system is expressed as follows: where is the discharge area, is the outlet flow speed, and the inlet flow speed.
4 Introduction Marine Jet Power ABis a world leading supplier of Jets. Several products are marketed by the company. This designers guide is for the CSU and DRB series suitable for vessels from 15 meters in length and powers from 500 kW per shaft.
Other critical factors such as the hull charac- teristics, application and ultimately the hull resistance will play a very important role in selecting the most suitable waterJet model. In all cases, please contact Marine Jet Power for advice.
Our Jet boat engines come equipped with official Marine Power Aluminum Exhaust systems, including manifolds, risers, and gaskets. Our Jet boat engines come equipped with official Marine Power high pressure fuel systems.
Our Jet boat solutions have been designed and built to handle the toughest power demands and most technical applications. More horsepower, less fuel consumption, and greater combustion efficiency than engines with conventional port injection.
