RCU Forums - JetCat Startmotor Specs - RC Universe

Jul 16, 2012 . The std motor is 6v nominal (Graupner who tagged the Speed series motors with voltages, did that based on no load RPM figures, rather than actual voltage)- so like Kv, but JetCat don't supply 6v to the motor. Its lower than that. A 7.2v Ni pack will be like 8.35v charged and fry a 6v motor quite quickly. Dave jetnuno 07-12-2012 03:58 PM

JetCat P90 RXI - RCU Forums

Sep 18, 2012 . The P100 is 22 lbs, small/light but is 2600 bucks. Assuming the P90 replaces the P80 but with 25 lbs @ 2200 bucks there will be a market for it. Kingtech just released a K100 for 2100. For 100 bucks more I suspect JetCat is betting that people will buy the heavier engine for the extra 3 lbs of thrust and JetCat reputation.
