The JetMAX had a strange whine/whistle from the engine/transmission which sounded like a supercharger. It's quite low to the ground and at a couple of roundabouts Muz had it scraping the exhaust. He also reported some frame flexing when going through fast corners. For straight line freeway stuff it was absolutely fine.
The engine has been built and developed in-house by CF Moto. A unique credential in China, CF Moto chose to break away from the GY6 platform and develop their own engine. All up the JetMAX produces a credible amount of power for the capacity, again rare for a Chinese machine.
Now, that being said and considering what you do get for the price, the JetMAX Throttle Quadrant does an incredible job, adds a huge amount to the immersion factor, and I am completely satisfied with it! The JetMAX MIP, Throttle Quadrant, and CDU are all connected to the computer via supplied USB cables.
The JetMAX was out about 8 km/h on the speedo, displaying a top speed of just under 140 km/h. As the km's grew on the odometer so did the JetMAX's ability to negotiate hills and freeway speeds. Once "run-in" the JetMAX is a pretty handy freeway capable scooter.
The JetMAX 737 Throttle Quadrant (TQ) comes completely assembled and is packed quite well in its own box. Let me describe some of the notable features of this product: The TQ USB interface appears in Windows as a normal DirectInput Joystick. No scripts, no custom files, no drivers. The base and interior structure are all aluminium construction.

If you also have the JetMAX Tiller, you need to configure it using FSUIPC as PS737 does not natively support it yet. The JetMAX CDU is controlled by the ProSim737 CDU program and should be set to enable ‘FDS CDU’ and be on the same computer the CDU is connected to.
The JetMAX wiring harness is pre-built by JetMAX with each connection labeled and all connectors already attached. This saves a huge amount of time, guesswork, and no wire splicing or soldering is required.
