Jetvent Fans are typically hard-mounted to the concrete ceiling of the garage using 8mm fixing bolts. In some cases, fans may be set off the ceiling through the use of brackets and anti-vibration mounts. This may be the case if there are unavoidable obstructions near the discharge air stream.

Dynamic management of the ventilation system based on actual pollutant levels generates significant energy savings. The ventilation system runs dramatically less, at lower speeds, while safe ventilation levels are maintained. A Jetvent Fans ventilation system can be designed for virtually any garage.
The JetVent Control Center communicates with Jetvent Fans, sensors, detectors, and supply and exhaust fans, to dynamically control ventilation according to pollutant, smoke, or temperature levels in the space.
In big, open garages—particularly where supply and exhaust outlets are a large distance apart—Jetvent Fans can be used to reinforce the natural, directional airflow, boosting the volume of fresh air that ventilates the garage.
If height restrictions do not drive fan selection, using fewer, higher-rated Jetvent Fans generally makes the system more cost-effective than using more, lower-rated fans. However, to ventilate garages that are irregularly shaped, selecting more fans with smaller thrust ratings may be more effective.
A destratification fan is a ventilation device, typically suspended from the ceiling of a commercial or industrial building. Two main purposes of this fan are to achieve energy savings and provide a more comfortable environment for occupants in a building.
Gently mix the air from ceiling to floor and eliminate hot and cold spots. Or place the fans closer and turn them up to provide spot cooling. Unlike other destratification fans, only ZOO fans offer full variable speed control as a standard feature.
For destratification fans, this is the distance from the fan outlet to the ground floor. The ideal Fan Throw will allow the occupants to feel the comforting effect of the fan, but not to the point that it will be bothersome and promote the circulation of dust. This is done by choosing a fan that will provide an appropriate terminal velocity.
This can limit a fan’s spread and prevent airflow from reaching ground level. As a basic rule for an even airflow distribution, each fan should be installed half a Fan Spread diameter away from walls, and a full Fan Spread diameter away from neighboring fans.
