    Some telescopes, such as the LX200, can be controlled using the SGT-MAX with TheSky software. Can I power the NGC-MAX from an external source?

  • How big is the NGC-Micromax database?

    The NGC-microMAX database includes 110 Messier objects, 90 interesting stars, 17 black hole candidates and quasars and 28 user-defined objects. The NGC-microMAX digital setting circles is the smallest of our stand-alone guiding computers. The Computer Comparison Chart details specifications for each of our computers.

  • What is the difference between NGC and Max computers?

    We started to call them "MAX" computers because that was a common part of all of the computer names and part numbers. NGC and MAX, however, are mostly interchangeable when referring to our computerized systems for finding astronomical objects.
