The CW Keyer leaves more room on top of the radio or your shelf than the serial product I was using. I tried out the K1EL Winkey 10 first which is great for serial use but it didn't let you use a keypad to access memories. K1EL Systems LLC. WKUSB, with a WinKeyer IC, is K1EL's original CW interface for the PC. It provides a convenient way to connect your PC to an amateur radio transceiver and send Morse both under computer control and by iambic paddle.
Then if you want to use a single key port with PTT select Key Port 1 and Ptt, else select either Key Port 1 or Key Port 2 leaving Ptt off. Click and hold Tune and WKUSB will key its output until you release. To get back to the main application click on the X in the upper left corner of the dialog box.
