Jun 14, 2012 . KAEL'thas Sunstrider, Phase 5. I was attempting this fight solo as an aflliction warlock. I tried to optimise my spec and glyphs to get self healing maximised with Demonic Aegis, Glyph of Healthstone and Glyph of Soul Link. Everything went fine untill I got to phase 5. This is the phase he enters at 50% health.

Nether Wind is incredibly strong when combined with Verdant Spheres, as it will allow KAEL'thas to land Gravity Lapse on Heroes hidden behind the enemy frontline. The Mana refund is also a great bonus that will help to somewhat relieve KAEL'thas from the burden of his Mana intensive abilities.
If KAEL manages to kill multiple enemies on his turn, he will be able to go again quickly to clean up the remaning enemies. KAEL can also be utilized in speed tuned counterattack setup in Clan Boss to deal high amount of damage by filling up the Clan Boss (Easy, Normal, Hard, Brutal) with Poison debuff.
When KAEL is build for maximum damage with high Attack, Critical Rate and Critical Damage, he can do large amount of damage to his opponents. This makes him one of the most for formidable champion in Arena when tuned properly.
KAEL comes with 11 preset and customizable illumination modes, which includes Breathing mode, Scan Effect mode or the incredible Explosion mode which will light your keyboard in infinite colors.
