The Kaffe borosilicate glass French press coffee maker is the ideal way to extract essential oils from your coffee. All you need is your Kaffè French press, just-boiled water and your favorite coffee grounds, and deep-roasted flavor awaits!
You can do everything with it: americano, espresso, latte, hot water, cappuccino, etc. Plus, the bit of the machine where the coffee comes out can be moved up and down to accommodate a larger coffee cup. I tend to use hot water, americano, and espresso the most. It also does hot water immediately.
I have used it for my spices so far because I planted too much basil and needed to grind and freeze. I will now be using it for coffee beans because fresh ground coffee is heavenly. It’s very easy to use and clean as well. It’s not as noisy as my former grinder, so that’s a plus!
Launch Kaffelogic Studio and select the 'View memory stick' tool and the 'Firmware' tab. This lets you download and save the update file with a single click. Then make a folder named Kaffelogic with a subfolder named firmware on a memory stick, and copy the firmware update file to that subfolder. Put the memory stick in the roaster.
Kaffelogic Studio is used for managing content on your memory stick, viewing logs and designing profiles for the Kaffelogic Nano 7 benchtop coffee roaster. It is available for Mac, Windows, and Linux. It's not in the App Store at this time, so you will need to follow these instruction from Apple when you install it.
The Kaffelogic roast system is profile driven. This is what gives it the ability to accurately reproduce a roast with consistent results every time. Fortunately you do not need to know much about these profiles to get fantastic results from your Kaffelogic—it is designed to make everyday use very simple.
