All products under the Kamado Joe brand are made from premium parts, which lends itself to their robust construction.
So, the Kamado Joe Big Joe III is the newest iteration of the Big Joe. All of the features we list out below apply to the Big Joe III – but there are a few extra features and improvements worth noting for the newer iteration.
How much fuel you use depends on the size of your Kamado, and how often and what type of cooking you do. 12 hour briskets use as much fuel as a dozen quick burger cooks. And the burgers use much less fuel on a KJ Jr. than a Big Joe, even if a full packer brisket won't fit on the little guy.
