It is a signary of 45 signs and 4 diacriticsrepresenting the phonetic syllables of the Japanese language. Signs are distinguished both in the direction they point, and in whether the palm faces the viewer or the signer. For example, the manual syllables na, ni, ha are all made with the first two fingers of the hand extended straight, but for na the fingers point down, for ni …

Kana is typically used for altering the operation of only a subset of all mapable keys. If Kana indiscriminately affected all keys, it would be necessary to manually recreate Kana versions of mappings for all non-Kana modifier combinations of all keys that need not have separate Kana mappings.

The Kana’s frame and desktop were shipped separately from two warehouses, but both arrived without a scratch. Both boxes were quite heavy—which could be an annoyance for those who need to lug them up a flight of stairs—but I wasn’t bothered by it because it made me think that the components were going to be heavy duty and high quality.

The sole exception is ta, which was modified because the ASL letter t is an obscene gesture in Japan. The other 31 manual Kana are taken from a variety of sources. The signs for ko, su, tu (tsu), ni, hu (fu), he, ru, re, ro imitate the shapes of the kataKana for those syllables.
The Explanation of Kana outlines the function and origin of Kana, the difference between the two Kana systems, the various sounds, the combinations, and the conventions of usage. It attempts to be detailed and thorough so that it can be used for reference at any stage.
The simple vowels a, i, u, e, o are nearly identical to the ASL vowels, while the ASL consonants k, s, t, n, h, m, y, r, w are used for the corresponding syllables ending in the vowel a in manual Kana: ka, sa, ta, na, ha, ma, ya, ra, wa. The sole exception is ta, which was modified because the ASL letter t is an obscene gesture in Japan.

Kano Analysis The Kano Model is a framework that is used to analyze customer needs and how those needs change as time goes on. It helps categorizing and prioritizing the different features of a product or service based on their impact to customer satisfaction.
The Kano diagram has two axes: customer satisfaction and feature presence (or the degree of feature implementation). These five groups of features are: The must be features: These are the basic requirements and the reasonable level of quality as determined by the customer.
Kano analysis can also be helpful to show how customer needs are constantly changing as time goes on. Kano assigns five groups of features to products and services. This is basically done based on what customers say is important and how they value these features.
This strict focus on how customers react to each feature distinguishes the Kano Model from other prioritization frameworks. The Benefits vs. Cost Model, for example, might use customer satisfaction among its scoring criteria but might also use different criteria, such as increased revenue.
