  • What Emsis units does kanardia offer?

    Also Kanardia offers two EMSIS units used for primary flight display. These kits include a built in AD-ADHRS_GPS module. With a JOYU command stick you can operate Nesis and Aetos panels. With the BOXI unit you can control pitch and roll, electrical trims and radio transmission.

  • When did kanardia start operation?

    In operation since 2006, this innovative company has had a great deal of success in the European light sport community. After trying out Kanardia in our own Bushcat panel, we decided it was time to introduce these avionics to North America!

  • How do you connect an Emsis to a CAN device?

    Emsis must be connected to the static pressure source. Either fuselage side surfaces or from the static port on the pitot tube. Used to connect other CAN devices. Connectors are equivalent so either one can be used to connect a CAN device. Connects to the Kanardia OAT digital probe.

  • What is the RS-232 port on the Horis used for?

    The RS-232 port is used for communication with other instruments. You need a standard RJ12 (6P6C) connector to connect to the port. Horis has a built in global positioning system, an altitude and heading reference system, pressure measurement system and much more. One push/rotate knob is used for the operations. Horis AD-AHRS screen.

  • What can be displayed on Emsis PFD?

    Emsis can also show raster maps on graphical display. When engine monitoring unit (DAQU) is present on CAN bus, Emsis PFD can also show relevant engine and fuel information. Emsis PFD has a built in global positioning system, an altitude and heading reference system, pressure measurement system and much more.
