I bought the KPT-550 because I was looking for a cheap, out-of-the-way dashcam. This one fitted the bill nicely. It was easy to install and set up and the video records in 1920x1080 (ie HD) which is fine for my requirements. The instruction manual is very clear and makes the device easy to use.
