1.4 PROCEDURE: To Verify KVL 1. Connect the circuit diagram as shown in Figure 1. 2. Switch ON the supply to RPS. 3. Apply the voltage (say 5v) and note the voltmeter readings. 4. Gradually increase the supply voltage in steps. 5. Note the readings of voltmeters.
Instead of tank replacement, when a KCL solution prepared using KCL powder is used for replenishment, use 3.3 mol/L solution by dissolving 246 g of KCL powder in pure water to make exactly one liter of solution. When pouring the solution into the tank, be careful that KCL solution does not overflow from the vent holes of the tank.

Potassium Chloride, USP is chemically designated KCL, a white granular powder freely soluble in water. Sodium Chloride, USP is chemically designated NaCl, a white crystalline powder freely soluble in water. Water for Injection, USP is chemically designated H 2 O.
Potassium Chloride in 5% Dextrose and Sodium Chloride Injection, USP Intravenous solutions with potassium chloride (I.V. solutions with KCL) are sterile and nonpyrogenic solutions in water for injection. They are for administration by intravenous infusion only.
There are many different ways to produce Potassium Chlorate explosives. One most common route is to extract KCLO 3 from bleach. Also, potassium chloride (found in salt substitutes) and a form of petroleum jelly will be required.
