Dec 11, 2011 . Nov 18, 2009 Just an FYI, as of August 2011 KelTec has started to 'enforce' their warranty to a T. It used to be that they'd do warranty work on ANY keltec that was malfunctioning. It didn't matter if you were not the original owner.. Now, if you are not the ORIGINAL owner, you're SOL. Not confidence inspiring.

We have never actually enforced this rule and would accept all Kel-Tec weapons under this lifetime warranty regardless of ownership. As the years pass and more and more Kel-Tec weapons enter circulation, the cost of offering a blanket lifetime warranty increases drastically.
That said, all Kel-Tec owners may still enjoy great service, however if you are not the original owner we will ask that shipping be paid in addition to a flat $40.00 labor fee. Depending on the severity of the repair we may need to charge for parts as well. This applies only to those who are NOT the original owner of their weapon.
The Keetec GPS Sniper Max is used to secure the vehicle and verify its current position and condition. In case of disturbance, the system informs the owner by voice call and by sending an alarm SMS with a link to Google maps.

If you are the original owner, and can provide a valid proof of purchase, your Kel-Tec firearm is covered under the lifetime warranty. The following is acceptable as a valid proof of purchase: The receipt that was provided by the store where it was purchased, or the ATF form 4473.
