Do a check of your dryer's venting hose to make sure it is not bent in an awkward position. Unplug the dryer and pull the unit away from the wall. You are going to need to get in behind it. Remove the end of the hose that connects to your dryer. Take a look for lint build up, or any other sort of blockage.
If the display has a "Check Filter" light blinking, some basic steps should be taken to resolve the issue and stop the light from flashing. Open the Kenmore Elite dryer door and pull up the lint filter screen in the bottom of the door to remove it.
Lint screen. The lint screen helps prevent lint build-up in the exhaust vent duct system. Holes in the lint screen allow lint to accumulate and clog the exhaust vent duct. Replace the lint screen if it’s damaged. Dryer door. Kenmore dryer door replacement is sometime needed if the dryer door gets bent or damaged.
