Kerlink Gateways will only mine HNT through packet transfer, and is considered a Data Only Hotspot unless you purchase a Kerlink Miner specificlly designed for the Helium Network. The ability to mine HNT with anything other than Approved Hotspots is not currently supported.

The Ethernet cable is not provided and must consist of two R J45 T 568A (or 568B) plugs on each side. • Kerlink recommends using a validated USB dongle (contact your reseller to have the list of validated USB dongles).

The Kerlink Wirnet product family share the same firmware and software architecture (for Wirnet iBTS, Wirnet iFemtoCell, Wirnet iFemtoCell-Evolution, Wirnet iStation). This page describes how to install and configure any of these gateways.
To update the gateway firmware with the last Wirnet KerOS firmware, go to Kerlink’s Resources page. The firmware can be updated via a USB key or over the Network. You can also use the file Liveburner IPK for updating this Kerlink firmware, to perform a factory reset.
