To determine the correct wick number for your heater omit the first 3 digits of the model number and the last digit of the model number.
These safety features are rarely seen in other kerosene heaters available in the market. With one tank of fuel, the unit can operate 9 hours on a single fill. Unlike other similar heaters, this one has electric ignition, which means you don’t require a matchbox.
For certain brands (particularly Kerosun, Toyostove, and Toyoset brands) it is important to include the letter at the end of the lot number. Add this letter to the end of the model number.
The unit is equipped with a fuel gauge to keep a track on the level of kerosene left in the fuel tank. Use only 1-K kerosene because it burns with 99.9% efficiency, thereby effectively heating the room in which it’s placed. (This model number sequence applies to virtually all Kerosun heaters.) B. Pin Wicks 2A and 5C fit newer heaters that have wick drop type shut-off mechanisms. The wick is automatically lowered by pushing a button to the left of the knob (2A) or turning a little knob to the left of the wick knob (5C).
The photo at left shows this is a Kero-Sun 105 model "N" - the last letter of the lot number. On some Kero-Sun heaters there may be a number after the model number. If the image at left is missing, click on the box at left and the image should appear.
