Honestly those connectors are pretty familiar from the qmac HF90's we use for SAR. They are not something I would use in the rain at all. A n-type is more waterproof then these. But they are at least "field ready" in that the locking rings go some way to prevent missed contacts by making sure things are actually plugged in!
