  • What is the speed table on Lais DCC?

Set CV61 to 0 (or any even number) and the speed table operates impeccably. (It looks like you can also switch BEMF on or off via a function key by setting CV 136). So the LaisDcc decoder does seem ok but I haven't tried it with lights yet.

  • Is the Lais DCC decoder worth the money?

At £10 the Lais decoders are certainly good value - especially if more expensive ones exhibit the same problem. 5 months later... I have just fitted one of these decoders to an Atlas HO GP38 .

  • Is there a way to reset the decoders on Lais?

    A. Write 4 to CV8 to reset the decoders. B. Write 4 to CV30 to reset the decoders. Note: Please refer to the CV list for the default value and the value after reset. Attention: If you find after you reset your decoders keep all the settings the same as before. If so maybe you have lock the decoders.
