Lakeland’s ice cream maker has the benefit of feeling more premium than equivalent models. As well as a sturdy plastic lid that twists and locks securely onto a one-piece freezer bowl filled with coolant, it features a discreet logo on the front and a sleek digital motor.
Freeze the bowl for 12 hours in advance, remove from the freezer and then pop on the lid. Ensure your ice cream maker is turned on and use the digital timer to set the running time between 5 and 40 minutes. Add your cooled ingredients through the filler opening, ensuring the paddle is turning whilst the mixture is added.
There are fully automatic, completely self-contained home-made ice cream makers from Cuisinart and Sage that turn out heaping bowlfuls of frozen deliciousness.
There’s an Ice Cream Maker Attachment for the KitchenAid that helps you create delicious soft-scoop ice cream, sorbet or frozen desserts.
