The temperature scan kiosks support human temperature detection with a marginal measurement error of ±0.5°C/±0.9°F A distance of 0.5 metres is recommended for most accurate readings, with 1 metre being the furthest distance at which temperature can be read
Temperature screening kiosk specifications Optional facial recognition can be used to recognise registered individuals and store temperature readings for each user. You can set your own temperature threshold and the self-service kiosk will provide a success/warning alert on screen with optional audio message and traffic light style LED lights.
Compared with handheld thermometers, temperature kiosks are a more effective solution as a staff member is not required to operate the kiosks, therefore no one is put at risk and you will save on resources too. The temperature scan takes around a second, meaning no delays for employees at the start of their shift.
