Lambretta owners manuals had a wealth of useful information on each of the scooters. They included basic controls, minor service information, wiring diagrams, as well as technical information. Sadly, most of these manuals were separated from the scooters and lost, or worse, left in the glovebox to become covered in grease and oil.

Jan 2021 – I have been purchasing many Lambretta LC / LD books and manuals for a number of years and continue to do so if I see a manual under £10. In my opinion, most manuals and books sell for between £10 to no more than £20. This includes postage. I have seen some people sell a manual for £10 and advertise £30 postage.

Lambretta Repair Manuals There are a many books that are in and out of print that help with general maintenance and full repair of Lambretta and Vespa motor scooters. Here are some Lambretta books I have found over the years, with a brief description of the contents.
Written and compiled by Ken Herlingshaw. 1966 The offical Lambretta Guide includes detailed parts catalogues, original 1950's advertisements & maintenance information on Lambretta's manufactured up to 1959 including LD, LI125, LI150 & TV175 Series 1 models. Series 2 Instructions for Repair Shop.
2 – The Lambretta Servicesmans Book (1st edition by D B Palmer – Important information reference the 2nd and 3rd edition book. If you were thinking about buying the book for yourself, to make space for further information, all reference to the TV Series 1, the LD 125 Mk1 and the LC has been left out. You must therefore buy the 1st edition.
