The power output of the new PUK 5.1 covers all requirements in the workshop and in jewellery production. The PUK welding microscopes are premium optical devices with optimal dimensioning for the respective welding task. Each lens is equipped with certified eye protection systems.
The M280 does not need a ventilator or ventilation slots. The passive cooling system generates no disruptive noises and is very energy-efficient. The M280 features a closed, tight housing. Thus none of the metal or polishing dusts generated in the workshop penetrate the device.

In addition to many precious metal alloys such as gold, silver and platinum, many non-ferrous metals such as copper and tin alloys, many steels, titanium and aluminium alloys are suitable for welding. All alloys suitable for laser or TIG welding can also be welded with the PUK 5.1.
At the contact point, under an inert gas atmosphere, a melting process with a diameter of between 0.3 and 3.0 mm takes place (depending on material and setting).
