In 1950, the company opened a new plant in suburban Brooklyn, Ohio, which replaced most of Lamson & Sessions’ other Cleveland-area facilities. Now headquartered in Beachwood, Ohio, and Memphis, Tennessee, Lamson & Sessions supplies the telecommunications, electrical, construction, consumer, power, and wastewater markets.
In the 1950s, Lamson & Sessions reinstated its acquisition program aimed at further growth in the fastener industry, but also with the desire to enter new businesses, such as industrial equipment, automotive accessories, metal stamping, and aerospace components.
Had a Liquid reel for many, many years now and it has served me well. It has been used and abused and has reeled in many salmon. It's still going strong! Had one minor issue with the handle (after MANY years of use) and Waterworks Lamson took care of it - no questions asked!!
Fit and finish are sharp and the new reel seat is another example of great design by Waterworks Lamson. 7wt.: Awesome streamer rod (trout and bass) with various sink tips from 10' to 25' (240 - 250 grain). Rod is so crisp it feels like an extension of your hand when you manipulate/strip the fly - unbelievable like that.
