The LARQ Bottle PureVis does have a Safety Mode, which is indicated by a flashing orange light that prevents accidental activation when the cap is not on the bottle by dimming the UV-C LED light. One should never place the activated UV-C LED in direct contact with the skin or eyes.
The LARQ Bottle will keep cold water chilled for up to 24 hours or hot for up to 12 hours. The LARQ Bottle Movement is a lighter, single-walled bottle that will not keep beverages cold or hot, however, it can accommodate cold water and even be refrigerated. DO NOT put hot water into this bottle.
It is a very quick cycle, so it is easy to miss! Also check if your LARQ Bottle PureVis is in Travel Mode, which will lock the LARQ Bottle PureVis so that the Self-Cleaning Mode is turned off. To turn Travel Mode off and turn on Self-Cleaning Mode, press and hold the cap for 5- 10 seconds until a white light turns on and flashes.
The LARQ Bottle PureVis can be recharged via Micro-USB. It is located on the side of the cap. A charging cable is included with your LARQ Bottle PureVis.
