It has everything a regular PC has and can do anything that a regular PC does. It is compatible with almost every gadget you know: printers, joysticks, cameras, and more.
This document is broken down into several parts, covering LattePanda 1st gen boards and LattePanda Alpha: Getting Started goes over how to power on your device with the pre-installed Windows system, which will enable you to experience the full power of this mighty hardware.
- Contact the LattePanda support and ask about the possibility of installing win 7 on it. - Run your Win 7 programs under win 10 on compatibility mode. Install the program and right click on the shortcut created, choose compatibility mode and choose Win 7. Some special devices are designed to have a specific OS.
When plugged in, you should see the red LED indicator light up underneath the board. This means that the LattePanda board is initializing. After a few seconds you should see the red LED turn off. 3. When the red LED turns off, press and hold the power button for 1 second to turn the LattePanda on.
Fortunately, using the onboard Arduino chip is even easier than using a standard Arduino because you don’t have to connect any cables. Power on your LattePanda and open up the Arduino IDE. We won’t be going into the specifics of using the Arduino IDE here as that’s already been covered in depth in our Arduino specific tutorials.
One of the best features about the LattePanda is that it can be powered from a MicroUSB power cable. Other boards or similar boards require a DC adapter with a barrel jack to power the board. To power the board, you will need at least a 2A power adapter, anything less will result in performance issues and sudden system reset.
First step is to plug in your HDMI cable from the LattePanda Board to your HDMI monitor/TV. Plug the Micro USB power adapter into the Micro USB socket on the LattePanda. 2. When plugged in, you should see the red LED indicator light up underneath the board. This means that the LattePanda board is initializing.
