Manuals & Guides. The laser is aligned with the receiver window but the green sensor LEDs on the receiver don't light up. In most cases you just need to adjust the tilt angle of the receiver. What is a Safety Laser Scanner? In short, a safety laser scanner is similar to a motion detection sensor for a home security system but much more sophisticated. Instead of just detecting motion, it detects if there is a person, animal or object, etc. in the area it is set to protect.
The human body is vulnerable to the output of certain lasers, and under certain circumstances, exposure can result in damage to the eye and skin. Research relating to injury thresholds of the eye and skin has been carried out in order to understand the biological hazards of laser radiation.
