SSK has been the Airtec Service Center for CYPRES units since 1991, and is well known for its attention to detail on servicing life saving electronic equipment. To send in your L&B altimeter for service to SSK Industries, you will need to begin by creating an account and/or logging through the Servicing Center page on their web site at this link.
For the ALTITRACK, you will also need to verify the firmware number, which is shown on the rear of the display when turning on the altimeter. If it shows VER 1.05 or lower, the unit cannot be repaired or upgraded due to its age. One additional note on the STELLA is that this altimeter does use some battery power even when switched off.
The company's customer service is well-known as anyone who ever has an issue with one of their products can return it to their headquarters in Denmark for a repair or replacement at little to no cost. Well now L&B has gone one step further for it's worldwide market and has added two service centers: one in the U.S. and one in Europe.
