Effectively there are five DPI in use: MDPI, HDPI, XHDPI, XXHDPI and XXXHDPI. LDPI is an old DPI, not used anymore, TVDPI was a specific case for TV UI and was used briefly for the Nexus 7 2012 edition. It can be considered not necessary for phone and tablet use. A note though, the TVDPI's multiplier.
Like for iOS, you have two categories of devices: phones and tablets. Both categories can be arranged in different DPI categories: LDPI, mdpi, tvdpi, hdpi, xhdpi, xxhdpi and xxxhdpi.
