In such event, End Customer will receive a refund of the license fee received by HID with respect to such software, less the value of use to date. Any replacement software will be warranted for the remainder of the original Warranty Period, or for thirty (30) days, whichever is longer.
Any Product that has either been repaired or replaced under this Warranty Policy shall have warranty coverage for the longer of ninety (90) days or the remaining original warranty period. Replacement parts used in the repair of hardware may be new or equivalent to new.
This warranty policy does not apply to resold used products and/or products obtained from unauthorized distribution channels. In-warranty service: If the product is serviced or replaced within the original warranty period, Innodisk will provide service free of charge, or you will receive a replacement of your original product.
Smith has sole discretion to determine what qualifies as a manufacturer's defect, and only products purchased from an authorized Smith dealer are covered by our lifetime warranty. If your warranty claim is approved, you will be responsible for the cost of shipping and taxes of the replacement product.
