Someone says that suede is too difficult to care, while others are glad about its softness and lightness. Someone likes the matte smoothness of genuine leather, while someone does not like leather shoes because of excessive formality and rigidity. And the truth, as usual, is somewhere in the middle...
However, to prove the superiority of leather over suede or vice versa is possible only on their own experience.

These might be from where a cow rubbed up against a fence, a small cut they might have received, or scrapes from everyday life. Full grain hides without many blemishes are the most prized, as they are least common and are the most visually appealing. Those surface fibers are also what give it the most strength of any leather type.
Quality. Genuine leather is leather, at least. Of the various possible grains and cuts, it’s at the bottom of the list, though. Relative to high-quality leathers like full grain and top grain, it’s definitely an inferior product. “Genuine leather” is not as durable and long-lasting as better leather products.
Types of Leather Grades. When the leather is corrected in any way, it is called top grain. Leather with the entire grain intact is called full grain. Full grain leather, even though it may have blemishes, is more expensive and more sought-after than top grain leather because of its durability and longevity.
