Jan 31, 2022 . Leclerc recommends aprons be used in all their heavy floor looms with 3 1/2 inch beams. Made of heavy canvas, these aprons are hemmed all around to prevent fraying and have a sleeve with slits at one side designed to fit a warp rod. The second warp rod is normally lashed to the first using Nylon Cord.

The Leclerc Artisat is a 36" jack loom with four shafts. The entire loom is wider than 36," but the reed itself is 36." You can find the manual here. The manual mainly shows how to put the loom together, rather than how to use it, but you can figure out how to use the loom with books and online resources and I'll mention some that I used below.
In our ongoing effort to meet the Workshop Weaver's needs, Leclerc has expanded its family of Voyageur Looms to include a 12 shaft, 15 3/4" model. It has all the features demanded by the weavers around the world who helped us to develop our 8 shaft Voyageur, but now has the versatility of 4 more Shafts.
On many Leclerc floor looms made after the mid 1950's, the Cloth Beam and the Warp Beam (a number of years later) were designed to be removable by mounting them in slots in the frame and holding them in place using a metal latch. This allows the beams to be removed to give the weaver better access while they warp the loom.

The Leclerc Dorothy is a portable table loom in good condition. The loom has the extended frame bars that allows up to 3 x 4 shaft castles to be installed (2 castles are installed but a third can be added for an additional cost). (Click on picture to enlarge)
This Leclerc Nilus is a late model 8 shaft jack loom with the latest version of the Leclerc friction brake. It has Back-Hinge Treadles making it as easy to treadle as a 4 shaft Counterbalance loom and is in excellent "almost new" condition. Features: Introduced in 2010, Leclerc redesigned the top of the castle with a pulley system to reduce treadling force, move the cables to the side out of the warp and improve the shed. Estimated Age: Introduced in 2010. Features: Loom folds up for easy storage, 4 shaft easily upgraded to 8.
