The Leclerc Artisat is a 36" jack loom with four shafts. The entire loom is wider than 36," but the reed itself is 36." You can find the manual here. The manual mainly shows how to put the loom together, rather than how to use it, but you can figure out how to use the loom with books and online resources and I'll mention some that I used below.

Leclerc started calling this loom the "Fanny" sometime around 1957 soon after they replaced the ratchet brake and slip band on the warp beam with a friction brake. Estimated Age: We believe this folding version of the "M" type loom was introduced in 1951 and was renamed the "Fanny" in about 1957.

Leclerc began burning the logo into the wood instead of using a sticker. The easiest way to identify the age of a loom would be by looking at it's serial number. Unfortunately though with Leclerc looms that is not always an option for a number of reasons.
