Leclerc Looms – Tracing its history to 1874, Leclerc produces weaving looms in Canada. Their offering includes rigid heddle looms, table looms, floor looms and a several specialty looms.
In our ongoing effort to meet the Workshop Weaver's needs, Leclerc has expanded its family of Voyageur Looms to include a 12 shaft, 15 3/4" model. It has all the features demanded by the weavers around the world who helped us to develop our 8 shaft Voyageur, but now has the versatility of 4 more Shafts.
Located in an area known for the production of Maple Syrup, Leclerc has access to high quality Maple Hardwood which is perfect for building sturdy but beautiful loom frames. The Nilus loom frame is made using high quality 1 1/2 by 2 1/2 inch solid Maple beams with mortise and tenon joints held together with heavy duty bolts.
Features: Introduced in 2010, Leclerc redesigned the top of the castle with a pulley system to reduce treadling force, move the cables to the side out of the warp and improve the shed. Estimated Age: Introduced in 2010. Features: Loom folds up for easy storage, 4 shaft easily upgraded to 8.

We at Leclerc designed the Voyageur loom following demands for an 8s loom with front levers and easy portability. This 4s Voyageur has the advantage of being smaller and lighter. It is for the beginner or those who just want a 4s, 24" weaving width.
