Jun 26, 2015 . The Lectric Cycles settings has a jumpy throttle and a little throttle delay which could be corrected by switching the Throttle Mode to Current. I have hundreds of hours beating the living piss out of my drive units with em3ev’s and Lectric Cycles settings with no complaints and no controller failures.

To clean the chain while it is on your bike: Use an old toothbrush with warm water to clean out all the links. After they are clean and dry (use an old cloth,) use bicycle lubricant to lube up the clean links. Only use special bike lube, like Tri-Flow, for this purpose. DO NOT use WD-40 or other oils!

Our recommendation to get the most life from your eLectric bike battery is to {charge your battery after every ride, but do not charge it all the way to 100%} to keep as many cells as possible in new and unused condition. This will assure that you get a long and happy life from your eLectric bike battery.
An E-bike has a few more additional components like the motor and battery. The motor is pretty much maintenance-free, but the battery requires regular charging. In my research, I have found a few different opinions about how you should care for your E-bike battery and how to charge an eLectric bike.
Avoid parking your E-bike in direct sunlight on hot days. 6. Use about 80% of the batteries charge before recharging. Constantly charging your battery and keeping it fully charge is not the best. If you can go back and forth to work on a single charge, do not charge your E-bike at work.
Not only is the battery the most expensive component on your eLectric bike, but the battery is also made to be conveniently removable. Unfortunately, thieves know this as well so the best practice is to bring your battery with you and not leave it on your bike. E-bike batteries do have locks but this does not slow down thieves.
