Lectrotab designs and manufactures a range of trim tabs for the leisure and commercial marine markets. They are used on all types of boats including pleasure, fishing, commercial, and air boats in a wide range of sizes.
Standard tabs are available in 9" (23cm) and 12" (30cm) chord lengths (chord is the length from the transom to the tab trailing edge) and in widths between 9" (23cm) and 48" (122cm). See specification chart for dimensional details.
Lectrotab heavy duty trim tab actuators are precision-engineered to combine quiet operation with a non-hydraulic, maintenance free design. The unit is corrosion free, ensures very accurate tab positioning, provides maximum lift force, and is totally self-contained for easy installation.
Most importantly, unlike hydraulic trim tabs, there is no oil to leak out. The actuator incorporates either a standard or low profile transom mounting bracket. Actuators come in 12 and 24 VDC with 8 second recommended stroke time or 4 second stroke time.
The warranty period ends when the actuator becomes unusable for reasons other than material and workmanship defects. Standard actuator failures due to material and workmanship defects may be replaced with an exact or like model by obtaining a "Return Authorization" number from Lectrotab and sending the failed actuator back for warranty evaluation.
